It also has no molasses added to it right through this process, therefore it has very little sugar, has no starch and has been approved by the Laminitis Believe.
Like regular sugar beet, this quick soaking alternative is rich in highly digestable fibre making making it a non heating, slow releasing energy product which promotes healthy gut function. As a result of this, this can be a great way to provide competition horses with the energy they require without the startch that comes with feeding cereal grains.
