SEAT STICKS: The term “seat stick” covers many practical seats ranging from traditional leather shooting sticks to fashionable seats made from recent materials. Everyone likes to take the weight off their legs and back at times, whether watching sporting events, at a picnic or simply for regular rests at the same time as going about day-to-day life. The more in a position-bodied incessantly favour single-leg seats, at the same time as three and four legged seats are ideal for many who want to take a seat for longer periods of time or are trying to find greater stability. CLASSIC CANES: In the late 1970s, Ben and Diana Porter bought Warren House, a romantic but ruined property set deep in a neglected Somerset woodland. They gradually rebuilt the house and discovered that the woodland, which used to be predominantly populated by ash trees, used to be suitable for growing raw material for rustic walking sticks. Ben applied the traditional forestry technique of coppicing the trees, thus starting the production of walking sticks.
