Please read measuring information – for this dog coat, we need measurement to the dog’s HIP. Warm neoprene dog wetsuit-style coat is preferred by many dog owners. Keeps your dog warm and dry on walks & body hugging design means it doesn’t restrict movement. It is usually ideal for swimming and aids buoyancy. Dogs can feel the cold when outdoor swimming/all the way through hydrotherapy sessions. Popular with working dog and game dog owners. Also helps to keep the undersides of your dog clean on muddy walks, reducing cleaning time when they get home. Helps to shield your dog from cuts/tears from brambles, undergrowth and so on. SIZING: Choose (XS) (S), (M) (L) or (XL) back length according to your dog’s back measurement from back of neck (where collar would take a seat) to dog’s HIP – see image for help. XS length = 26cms ; S length = 35cms ; M length = 45cms; L length = 55cms; XL length = 65cms. Now choose Girth Size: 0 (upto 50cms) 1 (from 50-60cms) 2 (from 60-70cms) 3 (from 70-80cms) 4 (from 80-90cms) 5 (from 90-100cms) The girth sizes above are minimum and maximum stretch of the neoprene. See the measuring image to check your size. For length – measure from the base of neck where collar would take a seat to just in front of dog’s back legs. Example: a dog with a back length of 35 cms and a front chest size of 55 cms would require size S1. The suit is designed to be rather tight fitting but if your chest measurement is borderline – eg 58cms – go for size 60-70cms reasonably than 50-60cms. It is necessary to measure your dog as all breeds vary but as a rough guide, S length – small terrier or cocker spaniel size, M length- Springer or very small Lab, L length – large Lab or GS, XL- Great Dane or Pyrenean Mountain dog.
